Review Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in writing a review of the UK touring production of The Sound of Music.

Visitors comments are an important part of our website, so in order to ensure your views are shared please note the
following –

What SHOULD my review contain?
Your review should be a genuine review of the show or film, discussing the content of the show or film and your opinion of it. Make your reviews as informative and detailed as possible. The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a show or film, but also why. A good way to approach writing a visitor review is to imagine you were deciding whether or not to book a ticket for a particular show, or buy a soundtrack CD or video/DVD. What information could you put in your review that might help other visitors with this decision?

What SHOULDN’T my review contain?
The Really Useful Group regret that we cannot accept the following –

  • reviews without an email address
  • single-word reviews or reviews longer than 1,000 words
  • remarks directed at other reviewers
  • content not specific to the show
  • personal or critical remarks focussing solely on cast or creative members
  • remarks that repeat criminal accusations
  • reviews that are not your own original work or have been previously published elsewhere
  • content which might be considered defamatory, blasphemous, racist or incendiary
  • profane or spiteful remarks
  • sexually explicit or sexually gratuitous comments
  • reviews submitted by, or on behalf of, companies or Web sites
  • advertisements or promotional material for other shows, films or Web sites
  • phone numbers, postal addresses or URLs

The Really Useful Group reserves the right to remove or refuse to post any customer review it considers inappropriate to our forum.
